Covering an area of 1 hectare, Château Matignon is located on a gravelly sand terroir to the east of the town of Libourne. The way the vine is managed remains traditional. The ground is still worked. Vinification: Wine from organic farming. Harvesting and sorting are done manually. The vinifications are traditional and take place in tanks equipped with thermoregulation. The vatting time of about three weeks allows to give a good concentration to the wine while preserving the finesse. The aging is done entirely in barrels. Bottling takes place after 20 to 22 months of aging.
